Meet Tamas Pal, Owner
Founder & Owner
Tamas Pal started Pro Pal Contracting in 2017 with a simple idea: the person who runs the company should be involved in the work. That idea still guides how we operate today. When you hire Pro Pal, you’re not handed off to a salesperson or a crew you’ve never met. Tamas stays involved in your project and accountable for how it turns out.
From New York to Sarasota
Pro Pal Contracting was founded in New York in 2017. In 2022, we moved the company to Sarasota, and this is where we built our business today.
Why Family-Owned Matters
Being family-owned isn’t a slogan for us. It means the company’s name is our name, and every project reflects on us personally. We don’t have layers of management between you and the people doing the work, so decisions get made quickly and questions get real answers.
What We Believe About Remodeling
These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every project, and why they matter to us.
Put it in writing
Remodeling goes wrong when expectations live in someone’s memory. That’s why you get a written scope before we start and a written change order if anything changes. You’ll always know what you’re paying for and why.
Give honest advice
If something in your home can be repaired instead of replaced, we’ll tell you. Our recommendations are based on what your home actually needs and what you want to achieve, not on making the job bigger.
Respect the home you live in
Most of our customers live in their homes while we work. We protect floors and furniture, contain dust, and keep the job site organized. At the end of each day, your home should feel lived-in, not like a construction zone.
Keep you in the loop
Nobody likes wondering what’s happening in their own house. We give regular updates, so you know where the project stands, what’s coming next, and when your space will be back to normal.
Finish right
We don’t call a project done until we walk through it with you and check every detail against the scope.
Stand behind the work
If something isn’t right with our work after the project ends, call us. We’ll come back and take care of it.
Licensing, Insurance, and Warranty
Every project comes with a one-year warranty on the labor and craftsmanship our team provides. Materials and fixtures are covered separately by their manufacturers. We keep the two apart so you always know what we cover and what the manufacturer covers.
State-Licensed Contractor
A licensed Florida remodeling contractor, so your project is done right and done by the book.
Fully Insured
Insured on every job, so your home is protected while we work.
1-Year Warranty
One year on the labor and craftsmanship our team provides.
Manufacturer Coverage
Materials and fixtures are covered separately by their manufacturers.
